The Team

Rampart Construction, LLC is owned and operated by two partners, both former United States military officers. With an average of 10 years in the service, Rampart's managing partners apply the same high standards of work ethic, honesty and integrity to every home they build.

Dale Johnson is our Senior Estimator and Purchasing Agent. Dale is a Charleston native with 23 years experience as an estimator. He's a Navy veteran and a retired Civil Service Employee.

Jim Lock is our Field Supervisor and Warranty Specialist. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Lock has 20+ years experience in government housing restoration work and supervising field crews in all aspects of construction.

Aimee Swain Aimee Swain is our Office Manager. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Aimee graduated from Wofford College and has 3 years experience in office management, operations, and human resources.

Eric Lutz (left) grew up in Oregon and is a graduate of Oregon State University. He served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer and in the Medical Service Corp. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent, Residential Builder, Construction Manager and General Contractor in South Carolina.

Robert Melton (right) also a native of Oregon, graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He earned a Masters Degree in Business and Finance from Oklahoma City University. Rob was an instructor at The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. and is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Residential Builder in South Carolina.
